Who I Am

Eric McNeil

Entrepreneur. Investor. Husband. Father.

I've spent nearly two decades building businesses, raising, deploying and investing capital across several asset classes, and developing relationships with founders, athletes, investors, and entrepreneurs around the world.

I'm a husband and father first. My faith keeps me grounded, fitness keeps me disciplined, and entrepreneurship gives me the opportunity to build a life centered around the people and experiences that matter most.

My goal isn't simply to create wealth. It's to create memories, build meaningful relationships, and leave a legacy worth passing down.

Built it. Lost it. Built again.

Started Early

Ambition was never the problem.

I entered the investment world at a young age with big ambitions and a willingness to figure things out along the way.

Over the next nearly two decades, I built businesses, raised capital, made investments, and developed relationships that opened doors I never imagined walking through. From working with professional athletes and global brands to sitting across the table from entrepreneurs, investors, and real estate developers, I was fortunate to experience opportunities that most people only dream about.

But none of it happened overnight. Behind every milestone were years of long days, difficult decisions, calculated risks, and plenty of mistakes.

I learned that success isn't just about how much you know. It's about who you become, the relationships you build, and your ability to execute when opportunities present themselves.

Lost It All

Everything can change.

After years of building, a business relationship involving fraud led to one of the most difficult chapters of my life.

The financial consequences were significant, but the impact went far beyond money. Relationships were tested, my reputation was questioned, and much of what I'd spent years building was suddenly at risk.

I found myself navigating legal battles, difficult conversations, and the reality that even years of experience don't make you immune to trusting the wrong people or making costly decisions.

It forced me to confront some uncomfortable truths about business, trust, risk, and ultimately myself. We needed to sell real estate, vehicles, jewelry, cash out our retirement, and go into debt just to get by.

There are lessons you can learn from a book. And there are lessons that can only come from living through them.

Built Again

A different definition of success.

Starting over gave me something I didn't fully appreciate the first time around: perspective.

I returned to the fundamentals that had always mattered most: faith, family, discipline, meaningful relationships, and the willingness to put in the work.

I also began looking at business differently. I became more intentional about the people I surround myself with, the opportunities I pursue, and what I'm ultimately working toward.

Today, I'm continuing to build businesses, invest in opportunities, and develop relationships around the world. But I'm doing it with a clearer understanding of what matters and a greater appreciation for the journey.

I still have big ambitions. The difference is that I'm no longer measuring success by business accomplishments alone.

I want to build a life that's as rewarding to live as it is impressive to look at.

Everything I've Learned.
Now Put to Work for You.

Nearly two decades of entrepreneurship have given me an education that no classroom or AI could replicate. I've experienced the wins, made expensive mistakes, built valuable relationships, and learned firsthand what separates opportunity from execution.

Looking back, I know how much time, money, and frustration I could have saved with the right guidance and the right people around me.

That's why I'm bringing those experiences together through McNeilX and Boardroom.

I'm taking the strategies, lessons, relationships, and resources I've developed throughout my career and turning them into practical education and a network designed to help ambitious people make better decisions, avoid unnecessary mistakes, and create opportunities of their own.

You don't have to spend twenty years learning everything the hard way. You've read my story and now you're here. I know I can bring you value. Take action.
